(07:03) SANTA CRUZ – A transient was arrested in Santa Cruz Tuesday on suspicion of prowling and theft. Police were dispatched to Fair Avenue after receiving a report of a suspicious person. At the scene, officers found 45-year-old Michael Salazar wandering around a residence. He was caught in possession of items that had been stolen off the home’s front porch. Salazar was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
