(20:50) SOUTH MONTEREY COUNTY – A project, to construct a retaining wall on Highway 1 in southern Monterey county and northern San Luis Obispo, is underway. The daytime roadwork is designed to protect the area from major slides. Next week, workers plan to install ground anchors between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
