(09:50) Santa Cruz – A Santa Cruz County Administrative Officer has received a Distinguished Service Award. Susan Mauriello was recognized by the County Administrative Officers Association of California for her work in boosting participation in public benefit programs and bolstering county reserves. Mauriello is also recognized for advocating criminal justice reforms, which has helped Santa Cruz County become a national model for reducing recidivism and jail populations while saving taxpayer dollars. She is the longest-serving county administrator officer in California.
