(08:52) CARMEL – Carmel officials are meeting Tuesday to consider a ban on medical marijuana dispensaries. The city council plans to discuss an ordinance that would prohibit medical marijuana store fronts, as well as the production and delivery of the drug. The city council has been prompted to consider a ban following the passing of AB 243. The bill requires cities statewide to adopt an ordinance regulating or prohibiting medical marijuana by March 1st, 2016, or lose the authority to restrict the production of the drug. (S.G.)
