DEBRIS FLOW TOWN HALL EVENT GOES VIRTUAL 11-18-20 13:37 DC

Due to Santa Cruz County’s change in status under California’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy to the purple tier, and in order to protect the health and safety of the community, the in-person debris flow townhall scheduled for this Saturday, November 21, will now be a virtual event.

In rainy seasons following severe fires, the risks from flooding, mudflows, and debris flows are significantly elevated, posing a threat to life and property. County emergency staff have assessed the risk to residents and provided a debris flow evacuation map at community.zonehaven.com.

Residents are invited to learn more by attending the following event.
