A 56-YEAR-OLD MAN WAS KILLED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON WHEN HIS TRUCK OVERTURNED ON SOQUEL-SAN JOSE ROAD. THE 3:45 P-M ACCIDENT OCCURRED AFTER THE VICTIM ATTEMPTED TO PASS A TRUCK PULLING A HORSE TRAILER BY CROSSING OVER A DOUBLE YELLOW LINE. THE DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF HIS VEHICLE AND VEERED RIGHT, HITTING AN EMBANKMENT AND THEN A TREE BEFORE HIS TRUCK FLIPPED OVER. CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL OFFICERS CLOSED SOQUEL-SAN JOSE ROAD FOR THREE HOURS, WHILE THEY CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION. NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT, AND THE CAUSE OF THE COLLISION IS STILL BEING INVESTIGATED.
