Dr. Joel Wallach

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Wallach has been appearing recently with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.

Contending that if all Americans stopped eating the bad foods and started supplementing with the 90 essential nutrient we could become disease free. Asserting that the mainstream medical model is rife with failed medical theories.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discussing a news article concerning celiac disease. A study found that celiac disease patients had high levels of reovirus antibodies in their blood. Researchers believe that once infected the virus leads to a more severe immune response. Doc disgrees asserting that humans were never meant to eat wheat so the reovirus has nothing to do with celiac disease.

Researchers from Stanford University School of Medicine are warning women to be wary of surgeons try to get them to have double mastectomies. The warning that unscrupulous doctors are telling women they have the "breast cancer gene". All to get them to have their breasts removed proactively to "save their lives".

Asking participants about their napping habits. Finding that 58% did not nap. While 19% taking one to two naps per week with 12% took 3 to 5 and 11% took 6 to 7. Concluding that taking one to two naps weekly lowered the risk of cardiovascular disease by 48%.
