Dr. Joel Wallach

Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

The report also states that if there were more awareness of how to prevent skin cancer some 21,000 cases of melanoma could be prevented each year for a total of 230,000 over a decade. Also recommending avoiding the sun by staying in the shade, wearing protective clothing such as wide brim hats, sunglasses and wearing sun screens. Ben disagrees about the sun screens outlining how toxic the chemicals are in sunscreens.

Researchers stating that the number of centenarians has double every years since the 1950s. Also stating that when they do die it is usually from pneumonia or general frailty instead of cancer or heart disease.
