Dr. Joel Wallach

A biomedical research pioneer, Dr. Joel D. Wallach spent more than 40 years in the field of Veterinary Medicine, observing and researching the effects of individual nutrients on animal health, before becoming a Naturopathic Physician in 1982. Today, Dr. Wallach is renowned for his groundbreaking research on the health benefits of selenium and other minerals. He currently dedicates his time to lecturing throughout the world on the therapeutic benefits of vitamins and minerals, and on lobbying the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on behalf of the dietary supplement industry.

Dr. Wallach has been appearing recently with George Noory on Coast to Coast AM.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show pointing out that it has come to light that the people of Wuhan, China have low platelet and white blood cell counts. Asserting this is why this spread so quickly. Contending people eating gluten have damaged intestines and can't absorb nutrients. Leaving their immune systems compromised and vunerable to the Covid 19 virus. Stating everyone should be supplementing with all 90 essential nutrients.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of omega 3 fatty acids. Researchers from the University of Nebraska Medical Center found that diets rich in omega 3 fatty acids delayed the spread of breast cancer cells. Dividing female Bagg Albino mice into two groups. One group got a diet rich in omega 3 fatty acids the other getting a diet rich in omega 6 fatty acids. Then injected both groups with breast cancer cells. At the end of the study those getting the omega 3 diet had tumors smaller the other group.

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the Covid 19 numbers both globally and in the U.S. The numbers are still growing both globally and in the U.S. Contending that most deaths are in the elderly population. Stating the reason for this is that they have been eating gluten. Damaging their intestines so they don't absorb nutrients. Causing them to have osteoporosis and filling their bones. Comprimising their ability to produce red and white blood cells to diminish.

The study of nearly 5000 people found that those taking statin drugs were twice as likely to develop type 2 diabetes compared to those not taking the drugs. Those taking the drugs for 2 years or more they were three times more likely to develop type 2 diabetes.

A study found a link between higher levels of vitamin E and reduced risk of fractures and risk of developing osteoporosis later in life. Osteoporosis causes more that 8.9 million fractures worldwide according to the International Osteoporosis Foundation. Women are more lkely than men while men lose 0.5% of their bone mass every year after the hit 50.

Three companies Eli Lily, Sanofi and Novo Nordisk control 99% of the market. There also is no generic version of insulin even though the drug has been around for 100 years. From 2003 to 2013 the price of insulin has nearly tripled.
