Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing a report on how many Medicare patients are killed in hospital settings 180,000 per year. Doc asserts that some health professionals are milking Medicare by doing all kinds of unnecessary procedures and tests on eldlerly patients who are in hospice care. Thus running up the bill until either Medicare or private insurance is at the maxium.

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing the problem of obesity and weight gain in America. Citing technilogical advances as some of the reason behind this change. Starting with advances in heating and cooking so there were no longer wood ashes that used to be put in gardens. Then most people are now eating a lot of preprocessed foods that are full of preservatives and sugars.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a report on health care costs. The cost to insure a family of four has doubled in less than ten years. Health insurance for the average family is now pushing $20,000 a year. Add to that employers are scaling back on how much they pay towards theses costs.

Dr. Wallach starts the show today asserting that many of the most common health challenges suffered by Americans are can be prevented and even reversed. Citing rheumatoid arthritis as one example and outlining it's cause as being a the bacteria mycoplasma. Contending that the bug can be killed and the damage to joints reversed through proper nutritional supplementation.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concern a research study on drug errors. The study done at the University of California, San Francisco. The researchers found that an estimated 4.5 million patient visits to doctor's offices were due to adverse events involving prescribed medications. They also found that the highest percentage of these events involved older people taking multiple medications.

Dr. Wallach starts the show stating that MDs have legistlated themselves into a monopoly where healthcare is concerned. Then he tells the story of how he was fired from the Yerkes Primate Institute after he discovered the cause and cure of cystic fibrosis. This because the institute had received a several million dollar government grant to study the disease.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a research study on statin drugs. The study found that patients who had already had an aneurysm type of stroke centered in one of the four brain lobe were more likely to have a second stroke if they are on statins. This compared to those who had a previous stroke but were not on statin drugs. Researchers believe the risks out weigh any heart benefits from the drug.

Asserting that MDs then treat each individual disease state often with drugs that have terrible side effect.
