Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from the University of Alabama. Researchers interviewed over 17,000 people regarding their diets across the country. Indentifying 5 different diet patterns diets that consisted of convenience foods, plant based diets, sweets patterns, alcohol and salads, and finally the southern diet rich in fried foods, fats and sweets. Finding those eating the southern diet were 37% more likely to suffer a heart attack than those eating the other diet patterns.Callers
