Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding blood pressure medications that were taken off the market. The drug losartan was found to have high levels of nitrosodiethylamine a known carcingen. This same compound was found in the Novartis generic version of the drug Zantac. The drugs were being made in China and India and the problem comes fron re-using solvents.
