Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study from Tufts University. A study of nearly 4000 adults found that those who got less than six hours of sleep daily had a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. Compared to those who got seven to eight hours of sleep those getting less than six were 27% more likely to develop preclinical atherosclerosis. They also found those getting more than eight hours of sleep had an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.Callers
