Monologue

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the Covid 19 numbers both in the U.S. and globally. Stating the Asian countries don't have as many cases or deaths. Asserting this is because of differences in diets. Contending the Asians don't eat wheat based products. Those eating gluten damage their intestines compromising their ability to absorb nutreents. Leading to many pre-existing health conditions putting people at risk of a negative outcome if they get infected.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of strawberries. Strawberries are loaded with anthocyanidin, flavonoids and vitamin C. These have anti=oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties. Finding that those who ate strawberries at least once a week were 32% less likely to develop Alzheimers. In an animal study strawberries improved neuronal functions and cognition.
