Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing osteoporosis of the skull. Stating that this can cause pinching of nerves resulting in many common health challenges. Contending that when cells don’t get all of the nutrients they need many problems can occur. Asserting that since all the nutrients a cell needs can not be found in our foods. Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss news article regarding ways to avoid being the victim of a hospital mistake. First they state that if someone goes to the hospital and are given a prescription the patient should question the doctor about it. Asking if it is the right med or if the med with be a problem with meds already being taken. Make sure the patient is the right one for a procedure or tests. If the patient is going to have a procedure make sure the surgeon gets the right site by marking it. The patient should ask every healthcare worker they come in contact with wash their hands or use a sanitizer. If an antibiotic is prescribed ask the doctor if the infection is bacterial or viral.
