Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing osteoporosis. Asserting it is rampant in the U.S. population. Contending it can manifest itself as several different health challenges. Stating the importance of nutitrional supplementation with all 90 essential nutrients. Because many of the nutrients need co-factors in order to be used by the body.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss new activity guidelines released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human services. The guidelines state even a little exercise is beneficial compared to no exercise at all. Adults are supposed to get 150 to 300 minutes of moderate to vigorous aerobic activity each week. Children ages 6 to 17 are supposed to get one hour of moderate to vigorous activity daily. Another chage to the guidelines now including kids 3 to 5 years old should be getting three hours of activity daily.
