Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing “do-it-yourself” healthcare. Contending that all of the tests done in a doctors office can be done at home safely and cheaply. Stating that way any conditions a person might have won’t show up on their permanent record. Avoiding being deemed to have “pre-existing” conditions and avoiding insurance increases.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a report out from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). The report states that by the year 2060 the of people living with Alzheimer’s and related dementias will more than double. They predict that by 2060 the number people with Alzheimer’s will grow to 13.9 million nearly 3.3% of the overall population.
