Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the floods in Texas. Stating this is an example of a disaster that everyone should be prepared to live through. Contending people should have plenty of food, medicine, water and nutritional supplements. Because it’s only a matter of time before some disaster strikes whether they be natural of man made.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning a report out from the Health and Human Services inspector general. Stating abuse of elderly in nursing homes is not being reported as required by federal law. Using medical records to find possible cases of elderly being sexually or physically abused. Finding several obvious cases that were not reported to the authorities.
