Monologue

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing chronic inflammatory diseases. Citing several of the more common diseases and stating which nutrient deficiencies lead to these diseases. Contending that through nutritional supplementation many of these can be reversed.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about cystic fibrosis. A recent study found that patients with cystic fibrosis in Canada live nearly 10 years longer than American cystic fibrosis patients. Researchers believe is because Canadians have universal health coverage and more access to care. Canadians also get a higher percentage of lung transplants. As well as in the 1970s the Canadians adopted better nutritional care.
