Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the implosion of the ACA (Affordable Care Act). Stating that many doctors are retiring because they can’t work within the ACA system. Contending many insurance companies are going out of business because they are losing money. Because they were forced by the government to take in people with pre-existing conditions.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study of weight gain. For years it’s been known that sitting and watching TV for five hours daily leads to weight gain. The new study looked at nearly 25,000 adolescents in grades 9 to 12 between 2013 and 2015. One in five in the study at least five hours daily on small screen devices such as smart phones or pads. Those using the devices for five hour or more daily are tied to a 43% greater risk of obesity.
