Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing brain dysfunction. Citing several brain dysfunctions such as ADHD, dementias, autism and encephalopathy. Contending many of these can be helped with diet and lifestyle changes.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a warning out from the CDC. The warning states that some 600,000 patients who had open heart surgery are at risk for a potential infection. The patients could possibly been infected with a bacterial species of nontuberculous mycobacterium (NTM). The possible infection stems from a device used during surgery to warm and cool a patients blood and organs. The infection causes several symptoms including night sweats, muscle aches, joint pain, weight loss fatigue and fever. Some infected patients have even died because of the slow moving growth of the bacteria diagnosis can take months.
