Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing preparedness for disasters whether they be natural or man made. Outlining several items that people should keep on hand to be prepared for disasters. Things like water, food, supplements, medical supplies, sanitary items, toilet paper and paper towels. Also stating that people should start educating themselves about health so they can have do-it-yourself healthcare.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a report out a research study of the genetics of aging. The lead researcher geneticist Jan Vijg of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine contends that humans have reached maximum life expectancy. Also stating that it is “incredibly unlikely” for humans to live past 125 years old.
