In the 1920s Dr. Keyes went around the country and led the charge for people to avoid saturated fats and switch to polyunsaturated fats. Procter and Gamble gave the American Heart Association 1.7 million to push the anti saturated fat agenda. Because Procter and Gamble were the makers of polyunstaturated fat product Crisco.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning "jack of trade" surgeons. The story cites studies that have found that surgeons who perform surgeries only a few times had 32% of all complications. Basically the fewer times a surgeon performs various procedures the more likely their patients will have complications following the procedure. Another study found surgeons who perform a procedure hundreds of times complications around 1% of the time.
