Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing a Dr. Lee whom Chinese officials claim live to be 256 years old.  Doc asserts this may or may not be true but contends it could be possible.  Because the province this doctor was from is known to be rich in rare earth minerals and nutrients.  Stating that the cultures who have long lived peoples are in third world areas without healthcare and doctors.  Citing statistics of how many Americans are killed, injured and infected every year in the U.S.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss "doctors behaving badly".  Doug cites four different stories of doctors doing stupid things such as two different doctors in  different parts of the world burned initials into patients.  One burning the intitials of his alma mater "UK" (University of Kentucky) into the uterus of nine different women.  Another doctor in the UK burned his own intitials into a patients liver to be later found by another surgeon.  One doctor carved his intitials into abdomen of a fellow doctor following a C-section.  Finally a doctor lost his license for leaving a patient during a complicated surgery to go cash his paycheck.
