Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Ben Fuchs discuss two news articles concerning diet and health. The first article concerns the FDA's recently announced plan to require the food industry to eventually get rid of trans fats completely over time. Stating that without trans fats in our diets 20,000 heart attacks and 7000 deaths would be stopped. Doug then cites statistics from the CDC regarding how many deaths occur annually from pharmaceutical drugs. In fact more people die from adverse drug interactions than die from motor vehicle accidents every year. Doug and Ben ask "why isn't the FDA taking drugs off of the market?"
- Veronica and her husband have been trying to get pregnant for a couple of years.
- Anthony has questions regarding his father who has several health challenges but is on a budget.
- Douglas has had eczema all his life taking Prednizone. But now is getting relief by using Youngevity products.
- Nabish has been diagnosed with glaucoma.
