Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding 7 common diseases that used to only show up in the elderly but are now seen in younger people. The diseases are melanoma, osteoporosis, strokes, breast cancer, Alzheimer's, type 2 diabetes and gout. Doug and Doc discuss Alzheimer's and how an MD quoted in the article actually recommends low cholesterol. Doc strongly disagrees asserting that lower cholesterol is what causes Alzheimer's.
