Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the contending that he has been vindicated on the topic of a link between autism and vaccines. For many years Doc has contended that there is no link that the cause is massive amounts of sugar in the diets of children and mothers. The doctor who originally claimed there is a link between vaccines and autism is now being accused of falsyfing data in his study. He has also been fired and had his medical license revoked.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news story regarding a study that indicates there has been an increase in children contracting C-diff in hospitals. Since 1997 the numbers of children getting Clostridium difficle have increased 15% every year up until 2006. The story also outlines the experience of one patient who almost died after contracting C-diff after spinal surgery.
