Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show citing past news stories where people were made sick because of taking contaminated nutritional supplements. In particular he tells a story about contaminated tryptophan causing the FDA to ban tryptophan. Which in reality is a much needed amino acid that is found in meats and eggs. Doc then cites the statistics of how many people are injured, killed and infected in the medical industry.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a study on chemotherapy. The study found that after a standard dose of chemotherapy although about half of tumor cells were killed but also found that cancer stem cells were created. Theses cells had a more than 30-fold increased ability to form tumors compared to non-irradiated breast cancer cells. They also discuss a news article about the state of Michigan trying to force parents to give their child chemotherapy. While medical scans have shown that the boy has no signs of cancer.
