Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach disucss a news article regarding a study on asthma drugs. The study found that adults and children taking LABA (long-acting beta-agonists) asthma drugs had an increased risk of being hospitalized because of the drugs. Children ages 4 to 11 are 67% more likely to have an asthma related hospitalization compared to those not taking LABAs.
