Monologue

Dr. Wallach starts the show outlining his theory that many tests and screenings done at a doctors office can be done at home. Asserting that people should empower themselves about their healthcare by learning and doing things such as screening tests at home. Contending that people can become "do-it-yourselfers" for healthcare.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news story on a research study regarding colonoscopies. The study found that colonoscopies miss cancer nearly 8% of the time. Doc recommends that people do a fecal occult blood test that can be done at home and sent to a lab for analysis.
