Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing athletes that die during their prime from cardiomyopathies. Doc asserts this is preventable and is due to nutriional deficiencies. Cites severals stories of athletes who have died before their time. Contending these athletes should have been hydratiing with "Rebound FX" from Youngevity.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article concerning a commentary in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The commentary written by two Harvard health researchers suggests that in some cases of extreme obesity children should be taken from the home and put in foster care. Doc asserts this smacks of Nazism and should not be allowed. He cites a story from a few years ago when a group of pediatricians wanted to make it manditory for all children to be put on statin drugs.
