She also discusses a web site recently created by an artist. The site is intended to appear to be a pharmaceutical drug web site for a drug called "Havittol". Basically spoofing Americans need and want for a "silver bullet" one pill fix-all for their ailments.
Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and JoAnn Conaway discuss a recent news article regarding research done in two different continents. The research upholds earlier studies that indicate HRT (hormone replacement therapy) increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancers. One study was done in the U.S. and the other done in the U.K. The British study found that compared to those not on HRT the therapy increased the risk of ovarian cancer 20%.
