Dr. Wallach starts the show discussing a recent USA Today article that outlined a report regarding medical mistakes. The report states that 15 million Americans are harmed each year by medical mistakes and not a single OSHA ticket is written.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news story concerning a Florida woman who was the victim of a medical mistake. The women went into a regional medical center in Orlando, FL to deliver a baby. After complications with the birth the woman came out of the hospital 12 days later as a quadruple amputee. Other than telling the woman she contracted flesh eating bacteria the hospital refuses to give her any more information on what happend.
