He asks the question of how valid is this study. Asking how much Blach Cohosh was used in the study? Where was it grown? Contending that the study was not a fair assesment of Blach Cohosh.

Doug contends that once the efficacy of a natural compound is verified drug companies try to determine the mechanism so drugs can be made. The being that natural compounds can't be patented but synthetic compounds can be patented.
