Monologue

Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing a study of Texas counties. One county had a history of violent acts in larger numbers than another county. An examination of the water supplies found the county with the most violence was lacking in a single mineral. While the other county had plenty of this mineral in the water supply. Asserting that all school children should have a hair analysis to determine if they are low in this mineral.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding hospital debt collection policies. Hospitals across the country are taking patients homes through lawsuits over unpaid hosptial bills. Some people also lost their automobiles as well as their homes. Hospitals are increasingly using the courts to attack former patients who have huge hospital bills they can't pay. Yet another reason to stay away from the medical industry if at all possible.
