GIVING TREE ACADEMY IS LOCATED ON LAWRENCE AVENUE, WHERE NOAH’S ARK PRE-SCHOOL USED TO BE. GIVING TREE IS OPEN TO CHILDREN AGES 2 TO 5, AND OFFICIALS SAY THEY PLAN TO WORK TOWARDS EXPANDING THEIR PROGRAM SO THEY CAN OFFER A PRIVATE KINDERGARTEN CLASS NEXT YEAR (IN AN ADJACENT BUILDING). THE NEW SCHOOL HAS 2 TEACHERS, AND IS SEEKING A TEACHER’S AID.
TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE A TEACHERS AID AT GIVING TREE ACADEMY IN WATSONVILLE, APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HAVE 12 UNITS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, AS WELL AS SOME EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A CHILD CARE CENTER. HAVING CURRENT C-P-R, AND FIRST AID, CERTIFICATION IS A DEFINITE PLUS.
