Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the death of a man found last week near Davenport Main Beach as a suicide. Authorities say the man was found Friday just after 1:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound near train tracks above the beach. The man’s age and identity have yet to be released.
