Authorities hope to have a Monterey Peninsula road back open by around Noon today. Canyon Del Rey Boulevard was closed in both directions this morning, after a vehicle clipped a portion of a power pole (that was leaning into the traffic lane near Del Rey Oaks City Hall). That section of Canyon Del Rey Boulevard is between Via Verde and Rosita.
