A 22 year-old student at Cal-State – Monterey Bay has been sentenced to spend 14 years behind bars. That after Ruben Rodriguez entered a plea of “no contest” to 1 count of first degree burglary and 1 count of forcible digital penetration. Along with the prison time, the judge imposed a 10 year restraining order protecting the victim (who’s dorm room he broke into). Rodriguez will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
