A rise in requests for covid-19 testing is believed to be linked to the upcoming holiday. However experts say that those that receive negative test results should not count on the test results to keep family members safe at holiday gatherings. Residents are urged to limit family gatherings in size and to practice social distancing and to wear masks if you attend a famil gathering.
