Even though there’s been good news on the vaccine front….with 2 vaccine’s doing well in clinical trials; there’s still likely to be at least several months of increases in the numbers of cases of Covid-19 around the country. The touted high-efficacy rates of the Moderna and the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine trials are a good first step, although a vaccine has yet to be approved, and experts will also have to decide which groups should get vaccinated first. So far, at least locally, it seems that First Responders and Health Care Workers will get the first vaccines….so they can continue to do their jobs.
