Free hotel rooms are being offered to some Monter ey county farm and food processing workers. Those rooms, and other amenities, are available to those who have, or might have, Covid-19. The Housing for Harvest program offers free hotel rooms, meals, transportation, wellness checks, financial assistance for 2 weeks….as well a s providing support for the worker’s family back at home. Workers will not be asked about immigration status, and all working information will, remain confidential.
