The Santa Clara County Coroner released a preliminary report on the fate of the Gilroy Garlic Festival gunman. The Friday afternoon statement reported that the gunman died of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Gilroy police also released a statement clarifying how the departments reports taking responsibility for the death of the shooter and the Coroner’s statement actually support each other.
