The Pacific Grove Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in catching copper thieves. Authorities say that burglars forced entry to a business on the 2000 block of Sunset Drive, and used a truck with a trailer to load up ten spools of cooper wire weighing between 400 and a 1000 pounds. The wire is valued at 12 thousand dollars. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the authorities.
