A convicted murderer, who was released from prison last year, is now believed to be the person who beat and kidnapped a woman late last month in Salinas. 63 year-old O’Neal Underwood has been arrested on Felony Kidnapping, and Domestic Violence, charges. He was booked into Monterey county jail, and his bail was set at 1 million dollars.
