The winning entries of the Climate Action Photo Contest will be on display at Watsonville Public Library system’s main branch. The winning (and runners-up) photos were announced on earth day, and will be displayed through the rest of this month. All of the photographs had to be of a recent climate action taken within Santa Cruz county.
Brianna Melgoza-Ortiz won with her picture that was taken of a composting project for the Green Grizzlies Club at Pajaro Valley High School; and Mayelli Vega won with her photograph of the Watsonville Wetlands Day event at Struve Slough; while Jennifer Hernandez also won….with her picture of a tree-planting project in a Watsonville neighborhood.
