the santa cruz county regional occupational program will be hosting its first advisory night tonight to connect local businesses with educators who are helping students to become career and college ready. the connect program gathers inout from industry representatives and cabrillo college educators to ensure that r.o.p. is adequately preparing future employees. the event is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the harbor high school multi-purpose room. it runs until 6:30 p.m.
