Conjoining Tonight 12.21.2020 1100 7 JS

Tonight, a celestial conjunction will take place, and it will be visible to most after sunset.

Astrophysicist Mark Mozena explains what it is, and where to look tonight.

  • Look West-Southwest
  • Observe the moon.
  • Keep looking down where the sun just set
  • You will see a bright star.
  • That will be Jupiter, and right next to it will be Saturn.

Mozena stated that tonight it will be “the closest that they’re going to be for our whole lifetime”.
