a hearing has been scheduled to determine whether a convicted sex offender can be confined as a sexually violent predator. 36 year old william donald blitzer was convicted in 2003 of numerous counts of child molestation. blitzer is currently serving a sentence for a 2010 arrest following a parole violation. he was set to be released on november 17th, but prosecutors have filed a petition to keep blitzer in prison as a sexually violent predator.
