GILROY POLICE RESPONDED TO THE CYPRESS POINTE APARTMENTS AROUND 10 AM THIS MORNING (THURSDAY). ACCORDING TO WITNESSES ON THE 8200 BLOCK OF KERN AVENUE, A MAN BARRICADED HIMSELF IN AN APARTMENT AND MAY HAVE A BOMB IN THE APARTMENT. THE SWAT TEAM AND A NEGOTIATOR WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE, AS NEARBY SCHOOLS WERE EVACUATED. NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUED THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND THE MAN EVENTUALLY SURRENDERED PEACEFULLY AT 4:30 PM.

FBI Releases Description and Photos of Suspects in Boston Bombings
After a 1 day delay, the FBI releases photos of the men wanted for questioning. The photos are available for viewing at the FBI website http://www.fbi.gov/
SARATOGA HIGH SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES HAVE RELEASED A (4 PAGE STATEMENT). THE LENGTHY DOCUMENT PRESENTS A POINT BY POINT REBUTTAL OF ALLEGATIONS, THAT THE SCHOOL IGNORED REPORTS OF BULLYING, AND OF THE SEXUAL ASSAULT OF AUDRIE POTT. IN THE PAPER, THE SCHOOL CLAIMS THAT THERE WASN’T ONGOING BULLYING, AND SAYS OF THE SEXUAL ASSAULT, IT OCCURRED AT A PRIVATE RESIDENCE, MAKING THE INCIDENT A PRIVATE AND POLICE MATTER.
